Design Internship, deadline Jan 29th, 2010

Internship is for 3-upper division class credits, the equivalent of 150 hours
during semester

The duties and responsibilities will include the production of:
• Print collateral

• Web elements

• Design project that could include digital outdoor signage,
preparing brochures, newsletters, direct mail pieces for print,
working with printers, designers and clients

• One design project from concept to deliverables

• Assist photographer and designers with photoshoots

• Proofing and comping experience

• Experience working within graphic standards

Ideal intern candidate is:
• Senior standing/second semester junior

• Competent in Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

• Proficient with the Macintosh platform – computer and OS

• Some previous experience with production – preparing files for print

• Web experience
