Mr. Winston's typographical experiments are the most interesting, especially Romeo & Juliet and Space Between Words. I'm even drooling a bit over his CV.

GRIDS held its final session of portfolio review workshops last thursday. Hopefully it was helpful for all that participated. As an advisor—I felt it was a very positive experience and I think we put many pre-majors heading in the right direction. With a some focus and determination it should pay off for them in the end. What is your philosophy?
As a visual communicator, we are expected to effectively communicate our message to the world. Graphic designers are the visual voice to our audience and we have to make sure we speak it (graphic design) clear enough for people to see. In other words design should visually communicate the experience clearly.
